Blair Malcolm is ‘Loons’ first close season capture

Manager Ray McKinnon is delighted that he can confirm that Blair Malcolm is the first new face in the ‘Loons’ ranks this summer.

The 27 year old central midfielder appeared in 35 of Dumbarton’s competitive fixtures in the 2023/4 season and Ray is delighted that he has secured the services on a one year contract of the vastly experienced Glasgow based player.

Ray commented that it is second time lucky for him as far as getting Blair under his ‘wing’ as he had tried to bring him on board when he was the man in charge at the Falkirk Stadium.

Blair began his career in the youth set up at Partick Thistle before a move to Ross County.
Cowdenbeath, Alloa Athletic, East Kilbride and Albion Rovers were his other ‘ports of call’ before joining the ‘Sons’ a year ago.
