Third Close Season Acquisition for the ‘Loons’

Manager Ray McKinnon has completed the signing on a one year contract of midfield player Mitch Taylor.

Mitch who will celebrate his 25th birthday later this month joined Elgin City from East of Scotland League side Camelon Juniors on New Years Day, 2023.

He made his debut for the Boroughbriggs outfit 24 hours later from the substitutes bench in a feisty clash with the ‘Loons’ at Station Park and has been a regular member of the Elgin first team match day squad since.

When Ray was made aware that his contract with the Morayshire club was up at the end of this past season he was one of his initial recruitment targets and he is delighted to get the signing over the line a couple of weeks prior to the commencement of pre-season training.
