Thank You

It was a relief to all with the ‘Loons’ at heart when the final whistle sounded yesterday afternoon and that first three point haul of the season had been secured.
A big thank you to the home fan base for their support of the players throughout the ninety minutes and in particular in the period after we went behind in the first half.
Though numbers perhaps not surprisingly were depleted on the day, that backing from those present was so appreciated by the management and players.
Thanks also to our match sponsors on the day S&S Joiners. Stuart Campbell and Steven Milne have been superb backers of the Athies cause in recent times and it was good to see that support rewarded with a victory yesterday.
Their party chose Kieran Inglis as their Man of the Match, a popular choice as far as the ‘Loons’ faithful were concerned.
All four main hospitality lounges were full to capacity as ever and thanks to Susan Barn and her guests, Gary McCluskey and his mates from the Perth area, Darren Douglas and his pals and our friends from Kirriemuir organised by Dave Smith for their continued support.
Trust you all enjoyed the Station Park Hospitality Experience once again.
Finally a thank you to John Earnshaw and his colleagues who made the journey north from Sheffield and sampled a fixture at Station Park for the first time, also taking advantage of the 1984 Lounge package. ‘ Haste ye back.’
Two away fixtures at Bonnyrigg and Stirling are next on the agenda, followed by yet another blank Saturday in this slightly fragmented early season fixture list before East Fife are the visitors to Forfar on the 19th of October.
