1984 Lounge

Forfar Athletic officials somewhat reluctantly have made the decision that the 1984 Lounge facility prior to kick-off at this Saturday’s fixture with Peterhead will only be available to the home support, sponsors and hospitality guests.

This is a temporary return to measures in place last season.

This decision has been taken in regard to the safety and comfort of patrons on the day. Early indications are that Peterhead due to their lofty league position and relatively close proximity to Forfar are likely to bring a fairly substantial away support on the day. The 1984 Lounge as most are aware has a relatively small capacity with seating for just under 40 patrons on a match day and limited standing area. Hence the reason for this decision.

We apologise to visiting supporters on the day but trust all will still enjoy their visit to the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park.

As regards the visit of East Fife on Saturday week, the situation in regard to lounge access will be reviewed in the aftermath of this Saturday’s fixture.
