Thanks Again

First and foremost today well done to the management, players and ‘Loons’ supporters for a superb ‘team’ effort yesterday which saw us secure a vital win over Dumbarton and subsequently move into a much healthier looking position in the league table.
A special thank you to our match sponsor D & A Factors Ltd who have of course been great supporters of the ‘Loons’ cause for many a day.
His fellow Directors at Station Park are as ever grateful to Scott Barn for this backing and the match day was the second part of a busy weekend for Scott who along with wife Susan were the main organisers of the club’s first ever Valentine’s Ball on Friday evening in the Invercarse Hotel, by all accounts a highly enjoyable and successful event.
Scott’s party on Saturday chose Craig Slater as their Man of the Match, the three female members of the group carrying out the after match presentation.

All four main hospitality lounges were for the second home game running occupied by returning guests.
Thanks to Garry Smith of Netherton Tractors Ltd and Scott Yule of SGY Plumbing & Heating LTD for their continued support in this manner and we trust their guests enjoyed their day as always.
A big thank you also to Bill and Malloch Nicoll for their continued support, a few ‘weel kent’ faces from the farming fraternity in their party on the day and to Alan Middleton and his friends for their most welcome support.
We were also delighted to welcome Doug Robertson of CROWN Engineering Services Limited in Dundee and his guests to the 1984 Lounge. The company are of course main shirts sponsors of Dundee FC, but it was great to see them ‘spreading their wings’ for a day and club officials trust they enjoyed the experience.
Finally many thanks to Sheila Wilson and Friends who were our most welcome match ball sponsors for the visit of the ‘Sons'.
The Athies now head to Elgin next Saturday, prior to Annan Athletic heading north for the next home league game at the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park on the 21st of the month.
Our re-scheduled fixture on Tuesday week away to league leaders Spartans will have to be re-arranged again as the Edinburgh side will now be making a second attempt to play their postponed Scottish Gas Scottish Cup tie at Tannadice that evening.
Confirmation of a new date for our visit to the Vanloq Stadium is expected before this week is out.
