A late goal saw Forfar Athletic and Clyde share the spoils for the fourth time this season at a spring enveloped Station Park on Saturday.
Jake Sutherland put the Loons in front midway through the second half but Clyde’s pressure paid off as they finally beat Mason Munn through Marley Redfern in the 93rd minute.
It is a fixture that has seen eight draws in the last twelve, with the most recent eight of those games resulting in just eight goals.
Jim Weir made one change from the draw with Edinburgh City last week, captain Stuart Morrison making his first start since November as he replaced Tyler Pasnik.
An early chance for Jake Sutherland had the sting taken out of it by a defending leg and Jay Hogarth gathered with ease.
In the tenth minute former Loon Logan Dunachie saw his strike deflected round the post for the visitors’ first chance.
Just before the half hour mark Cuddihy saw his effort from outside the box fly over the bar shortly before Sutherland saw another shot held by the keeper.
A chance fell to another former Loon in Robbie Leitch late in the half as his strike was deflected into the sidenetting.
Mason Munn did well to keep the score line level at the start of the second half with a double save from close range as Forfar failed to clear their lines.
The deadlock was broken just after the hour mark; a header back into the box fell to Sutherland and he finished for his fifth goal of the season.
Sutherland had another effort fly inches over the bar as he looked to extend the lead while at the other end Dunachie was denied by Munn.
Clyde kept up their efforts to level the scores but Kyle Connell dragged his effort wide with thirteen minutes remaining.
Andy Murdoch was next as he blazed over from 25 yards before Connell tried his luck from the halfway line; Munn doing well to race back and punch over.
From the resulting corner the keeper made another double save to preserve the lead but it was for nothing as Clyde equalised in the third minute of injury time when Marley Redfern nipped in to score at the near post.
A disappointing way to end the game but what some may class as a good point considering the visitors had the majority of chances and possession.
