Thank You

Bitter disappointment for all of a ‘Loons’ persuasion at the end of day yesterday with Clyde grabbing perhaps to be fair a not undeserved point with a goal in the dying seconds of the contest. The goal however dented home hopes of moving into the coveted fourth spot in the William Hill League2 table, but the fight must go on.
Thanks yet again to the home support who turned out on a superb day weather wise to back their side, numbers perhaps ever so slightly down on recent games, but as ever those present got behind the players throughout the ninety plus minutes. This support as has been said many times has been exceptional this term and is so appreciated.
Thanks also to yesterday’s match Sponsors Alpha Projects who have been such great supporters of the club in financial terms over the past 2/3 years in particular, most notably through their naming rights deal in regard to Station Park.
Paul Cortese, Kevin Brown and their guests all appeared to have had a great afternoon and early evening as ever and they made a popular choice on the day as the ‘Loons’ Man of the Match, Aron Lynas picking up his first such award since his move from Dumbarton early last month.

The four main hospitality lounges were once again full to capacity, all on the day with keen backers of the club in this regard over a lengthy period.
Thanks go Darren Crockett of RAS Crockett Electrical Engineers for their continued support as well as the contingent of Canmore Bowling Club members who were back with us on their yearly ‘pilgrimage'.
Peter Kidd and his good lady great supporters of the ‘Loons’ cause had a party of family and friends in the Doug Houston Lounge while the fields were truly ‘ploughed and scattered’ over the course of the afternoon by Drew Wilson, Brian Wylie and their farming colleagues within the Stewart Kennedy Lounge.
Finally Jane Rae and her friends took up the option on the day of the 1984 Lounge package.
We trust all enjoyed the fare on offer, your support in this manner we repeat so welcome year on year.
Two away games on the horizon over the next ten days, Stirling the port of call on Saturday first, before a trip to the Capital City to face The Spartans on Tuesday week. The Edinburgh side are also our next home opponents as the sides ‘lock horns’ for the second time in four days at the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park on the 21st of the month.
