Forfar Athletic v Peterhead – match information

Jim Weir and his players bring their pre-season fixture schedule to a close with a visit from SPFL League1 side Peterhead on Tuesday evening.

The match at the Parkgrove Stadium @ Station Park will have a 7.45p.m. kick-off.

For the ‘Loons’ it will be a case of continuing to get vital match time in their legs ahead of Saturday’s opening Premier Sports Cup tie at Ochilview.

With that game in mind, the starting line-up for the visit of the men from the ‘Blue Toon’ is likely to be along similar lines to that envisaged at this stage for the clash with the ‘Warriors.’

The Athies management team are however continuing their quest for a few new faces especially with a hectic early season fixture list in mind, a minimum of eleven competitive fixtures scheduled prior to the end of August.

Tuesday night’s visitors have played two open door friendly fixtures to date recording a 3-0 win at Banks O’Dee, prior to a 3-1 success over a Celtic ‘B’ side at Balmoor on Saturday past in a testimonial game for Player/Joint Manager Jordon Brown.

For the home side it match number four, a 4-0 defeat from Premiership St. Johnstone being sandwiched in between two drawn clashes with Montrose and Banks O’Dee.

Forfar Athletic Season Tickets are VAILD for this fixture.

CASH payment only turnstiles will be available on the night.

The Refreshment Kiosk within the ground will be open as usual.

1984 Lounge Opening Timings.

The 1984 Lounge situated at the rear of the main stand will be open at this fixture from 6.30p.m. till kick-off.

It will not re-open after the final whistle

Season Tickets Sales etc.
Although we have been encouraging all supporters to renew/purchase their Season Tickets on-line this year, there will be a further limited opportunity for supporters to purchase a Season Ticket in-person in the 1984 Lounge from 6:30pm-7:15pm prior to tomorrow evening's match against Peterhead FC. 

In addition, supporters who purchased their Season Ticket and/or Half-Time vouchers BEFORE THE END OF JUNE and who also purchased/requested a physical ticket, can collect those from the 1984 Lounge between the above times.
