Supporters Club come up trumps again

At the end of the match presentation ceremony following the victory over Ayr United on Saturday, Supporters Club President Linda Craik, Secretary Laura Sutherland, long serving treasurer David Strachan and members of the committee handed over a cheque for £21,000 to Club Chairman Alastair Donald.
The superb donation comes about mainly due to the match day fund raising activities of what is sadly now a small but exceptionally dedicated group.
Special mention must go to Rhona Shepherd and her trusted band of volunteers who have manned the Refreshment Kiosks at the ground on a voluntary basis in what has undoubtedly been the busiest season in recent memory.
During the course of the past nine months they have coped with three visits from Rangers, a Scottish Cup visit from St. Johnstone, two appearances by Dunfermline’s travelling army, alongside five local derbies.
There is little doubt that Linda and her committee would be delighted to hear from any supporter willing to assist with their activities in the year ahead, especially as they anticipate utilising the new facilities which will be available at Station Park for a few fund raising ventures.
